# Baby Bitcoin (BBTC) 2.0

Originally launched in July 2021, the Baby Bitcoin token was initially designed as a “meme token” with a focus on entertainment and social initiatives. Over time, it has evolved to encompass a broader structure and range of utility, adapting to different paradigms throughout its history. Thanks to the experience gained from the project over the years, Baby Bitcoin has matured in its conceptualization and purpose. While maintaining its essence as a meme token, it now features a more developed structure in terms of token usability, being part of a Blockchain ecosystem called Powabit.

Its vision focuses on establishing itself as a recognized and functional cryptocurrency, offering a wide range of purposes both within and outside the Blockchain. At the same time, it tirelessly works on a deeply impactful issue: addressing child vulnerability in all its dimensions. It collaborates closely with associations to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children.

Its mission is clear: to revolutionize the cryptocurrency investment experience by providing a digital asset that stands out for its stability, utility, and growth potential. With Baby Bitcoin, the goal is to be a driving force in the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://nitrolayer.gitbook.io/baby-bitcoin/whitepaper/baby-bitcoin-bbtc-2.0.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
